Jewelry Care
Tips for preserving the beauty and shine of your LELUNE jewelry over time
LELUNE jewelry is made with precious materials such as 925 sterling silver, gold, pearls, diamonds, and natural stones. To preserve their beauty, shine, and original characteristics over time, it is advisable to follow a few simple precautions during use and storage.
General tips
For proper care of LELUNE jewelry, we recommend the following:
- put on your jewelry last, after applying perfumes, creams, cosmetics, or hair products;
- avoid contact with water, chlorine, seawater, detergents, solvents, chemicals, and abrasive substances;
- avoid prolonged contact with sweat, hairspray, alcohol, perfumes, and other cosmetics, which can alter the shine of metals and stones over time;
- remove jewelry before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, doing housework, or any activities that could cause impact, scratches, or deformation;
- store each piece of jewelry separately in its own packaging or in a soft pouch, in a dry place away from heat sources, humidity, and direct light.
925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver can naturally undergo an oxidation process due to contact with air, humidity, cosmetics, perfumes, sweat, or other external agents. This is a natural phenomenon and does not constitute a product defect.
To maintain its shine, we recommend the following:
- clean the jewelry after use with a soft microfiber cloth;
- use a specific silver polishing cloth when necessary;
- avoid using abrasive products or harsh detergents.
Pearls
Pearls are particularly delicate natural gems and require specific care.
It is recommended to:
- avoid any contact with perfumes, creams, cosmetics, detergents, alcohol, and chemicals;
- clean them exclusively with a soft, slightly damp cloth;
- never immerse them in cleaning solutions or specific jewelry cleaning products;
- store them away from heat sources and overly dry or humid environments to preserve their natural luster.
Gold, diamonds, and natural stones
To keep the shine of gold jewelry and precious or natural stones unchanged, it is advisable to:
- clean the jewelry gently with lukewarm water and a soft cloth;
- dry it thoroughly after cleaning;
- avoid impacts, falls, and contact with abrasive surfaces that could damage the metal or stones.

Proper maintenance helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the jewelry over time and serves as an important reference for the application of the Legal Warranty of Conformity.
